Celebrate Black Art. Empower Black Artists.

The Reverie isn’t just a soirée... it’s how we ensure Black artists thrive for generations.

What’s Good Friend!

I’m beyond excited to share something close to my heart. As Vice President of Black Artist Forward (BAF), I get to witness the brilliance, resilience, and creativity of Black artists every often, and now, we’re creating a space to honor and uplift them in an intentional way.

On Thursday, September 4th, we’re hosting BAF’s first-ever Black Art Dinner & Soirée: The Reverie a night of elegance, live music, incredible food, and a silent art auction featuring stunning works by talented Black creatives.

This isn’t just an event… it’s an experience. A space where art meets impact.

But here’s what matters most:

Proceeds from this soirée go directly to our Artist Thrive Fund, an emergency resource that provides crucial financial support for Black artists in need. Whether it’s covering housing, materials, or unexpected crises, this fund ensures our artists can keep creating, telling our stories, and shaping culture without financial barriers holding them back.

Every donation, every ticket, every dollar matters. Because when we invest in Black art, we’re investing in Black futures. If you can’t make it to the soirée, you can still show your support by giving directly to the Artist Thrive Fund:

Let’s eat, dance, and celebrate the beauty of Black art together… and most importantly, let’s ensure Black artists continue to thrive for generations to come.

With love,
Shakeyla M. Ingram

Ps. I love you + Thanks in advance!
